PERFORMANCE OF INTERNATIONAL VISITOR ARRIVALS COMPARISON OF THE 1ST QUARTER OF 2010 & 2011 - During the 1st quarter of 2011, the international tourist arrivals to Myanmar reach 140659 at main gateways by flights with an increase rate of 29% compared with the arrivals in 2010’s 1st quarter, amounted 109439 arrival. - Due to the regional situation of border area, the number of tourist arrivals through border has declined.
