Abstract Create a training aid for college students and airport authority personal on airport safety and operations The training tool will contain visual images illustrating issues to be aware of in order to perform proper daily inspections. The training piece will be followed by a series of test questions related to the material covered.

FAR Part 139 Breakdown Self-Inspection Additional Areas Checked on an Airport Inspection Paved Areas Marking & Signs Traffic and Wind Direction Indicators Fueling Operations Navigational Aids Airport Emergency Plan Lighting Pedestrian and Ground Vehicles Obstructions Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting Airport Condition Reporting Identifying, Marking, and Lighting Construction and Other Unserviceable Areas Snow and Ice Control Safety Areas Public Protection Non-Complying Conditions Wildlife Hazards

  4. Conclusion The research gathered from this project will be used in creating the training aid. The simulator will increase the knowledge of current and future airport authority on proper airport operations and safety. The future project will be brought to life using Autocad, Mutigen Creator, and Vega Prime all operating on a Raytheon First Plus platform.
