Review: Two Questions • Do you know for certain that if you died tonight you would go to heaven? • Christians believe that you can know with certainty • If you were to die tonight and God asked you, “Why should I let you into my heaven?”, what would you say? • According to Christianity, there are two answers – a right answer and a wrong answer

  13. Faith is… • Taking Jesus at His Word (Mark 5:21-24,35-43) • Reaching out to Jesus (Mark 5:25-34) • It is not the quantity of faith • It is the direction of faith • Faith is to be open and public

Faith is… • Taking Jesus at His Word (Mark 5:21-24,35-43) • Reaching out to Jesus (Mark 5:25-34) • Having child-like faith (Mark 10:13-16) • We are to receive Jesus Christ like a child • Not in a childish way, but like a child trusting his parents • This is a personal decision • John 5:24 – the present and the future
