  2. The Ordinary World • The Ordinary world for Van Helsing was Rome because that’s where his friends were.

  3. The Call to Adventure • The call to adventure for Van Helsing happened when the priests told him to go to Transylvania.

  4. The Super natural Aid • The super natural aid came from the priests giving him weapons to help him on the road of trials.

  5. Crossing the Threshold • He crosses the threshold when he takes the ship to Transylvania.

  6. In the Belly of the Whale • He is in the belly of the whale the whole time he is in Transylvania.

  7. The Road of Trials • He faces many trials but the one that stands out the most is fighting with Vampires numerous times.

  8. The meeting with the goddess • He meets the goddess in Transylvania, and is a women he helps throughout the movie.

  9. The Women as a Temptress • The temptress in the movie is the strong will he has to finding out his past.

  10. The Ultimate Boon • His ultimate boon in this movie was to defeat Dracula.

  11. Freedom to Live • He realizes in the end of the movie that everyone dies eventually and he must cope with the deaths and just move on.
