Research Funding • Queen’s University reported approximately $178 million of research revenue in Fiscal 2019 (May 2018 – April 2019) • Research Accounting administers approximately 3,500 active research projects at any given time. • There are rules and regulations to comply with as part of accepting this funding. • Research Accounting works closely with the University Research Services on post-award administration.

The Research Accounting Team Main Responsibilities: • Support the Research Community in administering research funding • Project Establishment and Maintenance in the Finance System (PeopleSoft) • Cash flow and budget monitoring • Financial Reporting and Invoicing • Compliance Review of Expenses • Audits and Monitoring Visits
