  1. Paranormal Pudsey Day All the children and staff looked fantastic in their costumes for our Paranormal Pudsey Day. We have raised £131.35. Thank you all for you kindness and support. Look out for some spooky pictures on our school website…….. Maths Week After his fantastic science shows last year, Dr Mark is returning to school with his ‘Cool Maths Shows’ on Thursday 21st November 2013. This time, he is giving you the opportunity to come and see the fantastic work that he is doing with the children. He shall be in at: 9:30am to 10:15am working with Reception and Year 110:30am to 11:30am working with Year 2 and Year 31:15pm to 2:30pm working with Year 5 and Year 6. There will be a pack of free fun ideas of how you and your child can amaze people with maths. Look forward to seeing you all then. 01254 54851 • Philippine Fortnight • We are raising funds for an Aquabox to send to the Philippines in light of the disaster that has affected thousands of people living there. • Staff at school are raising funds through different ways but we also need your help. • From Wednesday 20th November 2013 until Wednesday 4th December 2013, we will be doing as much as we can to raise funds. So far we are: • Donating any money collected for Tuesday and Thursday toast to the appeal. • Selling bottles of water everyday at 50p each. • Holding a bring and buy sale. • Details of all the fundraising that will be done during Philippine Fortnight to follow on Monday. • Please help us to help those in need.Thank you The Reception children went to Rumble Tumble this week to celebrate Doodle the Dog’s birthday. In the afternoon, they had a party for Doodle in school. Everyone had lots of fun. Friday 15th November 2013Newsletter Thank you to all of you who have returned the Focus Group questionnaire. If you have not already done so, please return your questionnaires to Mrs Eskdale by Thursday 21st November 2013 as your views are very important to us. Thank you. Breakfast Club Children are welcome to attend Breakfast Club from 8am until 8:30am every morning. Breakfast club is £1 per child per day and everyone is welcome. Tuesday Treat next week will be ‘Homemade Pancakes’. Don’t forget our school Open Day on Wednesday 27th November. Everyone welcome. Tell your family and friends. Fantastic Friday – Friday 22nd November 2013 Children who don’t usually have a school dinner during the week have the option to have one on Friday. The cost of this is £1.90. Teller of the Week All our Tellers this week have done a wonderful job letting the school know who the Gold Book winners were in their class.
