  6. How are they different – Design • Design of bearing to endure the load • Pressure on back side of vanes in a vane type pump • Reversible (pumps are not generally reversible – Motors are) • Inlet and outlet size • Pump inlet side needs to be bigger • Motor the outlet sides needs to be larger
