OT - POWER Lockout • safety rules: no cabling modification or cables removal with presence of Voltage on the detector or in the cable trays. • Proposal: • Monday 3th December: LHC stop at ~ 6:00 am? • During the full day: ‘soft’ switch off by the sub detectors • Tuesday 4th December: switch off everything in D3 + B1 (Maraton) + CAN power in D2 Laurent • 1st : by ‘button’ if available on the equipment (AC/DC, CAEN crate key, Tell1 crate…) • 2nd : with ‘secondary’ electrical breakers (top of racks) • 3rd : then ‘Consignation’ with Locks of the main Breakers (TDM) • Is it compatible with your plan/activities ?

  2. ‘Old long distance’ Cables removal • OM2 Optical Fibres • Except the ‘on detector patch cords’ + the cable chain cables  they can be removed by TC Cabling team: in December • does OT want to keep TELL1 Boards ? Tell1 Crates ? Small OM2 patch cords (in D3)? Long distance OM2 trunk cables (if possible to recuperate?) ? Optical MPO Patch Panels (D3+Bunker) ? • TFC optical links (2x 4 optical fibres cables)  Can be removed by TC team • does OT want to keep Single Mode patch cords ? TTCoc splitters ? • 3) List of copper cables in the groove • Keep Maraton LV cables (Ctrl + Power from B1 to Bunker) • Keep 6x DSS cables D2-PLC to Bunker Patch Panels • Can be removed: • 2 CAN-Bus cable ? From D3D04 to T0A04 and T0A14 • 12 x 50 ohm coax cable (BNC connectors?) ECS? D3D05 -> 6xT0A04 / 6xT0A14 • 1 x MCA24 cable ‘RASNIK -T0A14F21.Master-mux-in’ (Alignment Monitoring) ? • 30 x SPEC cable ECS- Cat6 RJ45 connectors (Bunker-D2) ? d 14 mm 8 cables Optical fiber orange d 13 mm 2 cables Optical fiber black d 12,3 mm 16 cables MCA36 blue d 11,4 mm 8 cables 3x4 mm2 black d 16,5 mm 2 cables NG18 white-DSS d 13,5 mm 4 cables NE18 white-DSS d 16,5 mm 2 cables CAN bus black d 5 mm 12 cables CB50 brown d 11,2 mm 1 cable MCA24 blue d 6 mm 30 cables Cat 6 gray
