EAC 417 – INTERNATIONAL MANAGEMENT – DOING BUSINESS IN BRAZIL Rationale: this is an elective discipline. The course will teach students the basics regarding international management in a broad view stretching their thinking in terms of the challenges of business in a cross cultural scenario and Brazil
Class aims and description • The class will aim to create students that are sufficiently aware of the most important characteristics of international management and Brazil as a multicultural country, its business rules, attraction of investments, major problems and advantages.

Evaluation • Final paper (minimum of 5 pages) computer printed, single space, Comparing Brazil and another country, region in any of the aspects discussed in classes. The paper must be in English. • Due date: November 25th, 2005 • Observation: Plagiarism will result in failing grade in the course
