Some of you will explore water pollution and the other agents will analyze deserts and rivers have affected population. Guys I am counting on you to get to the bottom of these issues.   3. Questions to ponder… What are some causes of water pollution in the Middle east (Southwest Asia)? What is irrigation? How is water distributed? How does the unequal distribution of water affect drinking water?

  4. How do deserts and rivers affect population in terms of WHERE people live, the type of WORK they do, and how THEY travel? Apply what you know!

  5. Water Pollution • Team W…you will create a flip chart. The chart will be divided into 2 sections. 1=The problem 2=The causes. Make sure you go indepth. Analyze the causes of the problem and explore how they affect the people in that country. • Deserts and Rivers • Team DR…You guys will create a multifold (foldable). There should be at least 5 labels. 1=deserts of SW Asia 2=Rivers of SW Asia 3=Affect on Location 4=Affect on Work 5=Affect on travel. You must have at least 4 sentences for each fold. Be creative!
