Rangimarie’s Whakapapa Paintings. First we filled in our family tree worksheet. Then we mixed paint colours to make new colours. We practised making koru with chalk on newsprint. Then we did pencil and crayon drawings of our family tree. Then we did a draft copy with paint.

  7. We needed to make a background for our paintings so we did thick crayon lines

  8. And dyed them too

  9. We wrote stories to explain who was in our family tree paintings

  10. Then we typed it on the laptop and printed them off
