  2. Introduction The issue that is going on in the world is global warming. One of the things that are affecting it is pollution and from pollution I am focusing on how greenhouse gases affect the earth and how it interacts with global warming. Greenhouse gases are a big issue to because they affect our environment, society and our people.

  3. What is Greenhouse gases • From the introduction you might have wondered what are greenhouse gases. First you must know that greenhouse gases are what rises the earths temperature and if it wasn’t for them the earths temperature would be 33 degrees Celsius (55f). These gases are in the earths atmosphere and emit radiation within the thermal infrared area. These gases are water vapor, carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and ozone. These gases are able to rise our temperature within seconds and takes a large part in global warming. Also from solar radiation another type of greenhouse effect. It is what is causing the ice to melt and is what is causing earths sea levels to rise. In conclusion I say that this is a big affect to global warming and can harm our home. • "Greenhouse gas." Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia(2010): n. pag. Web. 3 Feb 2010. <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greenhouse_gas>.

  4. Global warming Affected By Greenhouse gases • Greenhouse gases is what raises the earths temperature and global warming is a raise in earths temperature and so that’s what greenhouse gases does. So at one point in the 20th century there was an increase in the earths average temperature. This was because humans activity due to fossil fuels as well as deforestation. Also solar radiation affects te earths temperature because the stronger the radiation the higher the earths average temperature. In the end I can say that the cause of global warming is mainly because of GreenHouse gases. • "Global warming." Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia(2010): n. pag. Web. 3 Feb 2010. <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_warming>.

  5. United States • As I have read the united states are being affected a lot. This is because that there is a large amount of human activities going on in the U.S so the more human activity the more greenhouse gases are given out. The main gas that has been used from 1990-2006 is CO2 (carbon dioxide). This gas is one of the main effects to climate change and since there has been large amounts used it has cause a lot of carbon emissions which are slowly changing a little from the help of other countries the average of the earths temperatures and climate change. This greenhouse gas has been also used to burn fossil fuels and from burning of fossil fuels methane has been released in the air causing more rise in earths temperature and climate change. Also in the end the amount of Co2 being used in the United States is approximately 85% of greenhouse gas emissions. Plus that United States is using the most CO2 in the world. • "U.S. Greenhouse Gas Inventory." (2009): n. pag. Web. november 30th 2009. <http://www.epa.gov/climatechange/emissions/usgginventory.html>.

  7. Resent News • There has been an incident that NASA has increased there eyes on the earth to take the data of climate change down. They have been keeping this private and hidden. So if they do not start giving out that data to the competitive enterprise institute they will be sued. This is because information is being locked and there might be more ice melting due to radiation. Finally I can say that this is a linked issue to economy. • Azuz, Carl. "CNN Student News Transcript: December 11, 2009." CNN Student News(2009): n. pag. Web. 1th December 2009. <http://edition.cnn.com/2009/LIVING/studentnews/12/10/transcript.fri/index.html?iref=allsearch>.

  8. Environment • The Greenhouse gases are affecting our environment by a lot. First of all is that due to the amount of greenhouse gas emissions that are being burnt and released in the air everyday are causing ice caps to melt and if ice caps melt then there will be a rise in sea level. Later is that from the pollution it is causing and the climate change it is forcing change in the migratory patterns for animals. And from this greeter storms are happening can be affect to our society. From the gases and fuels and toxic fumes it can cause diseases in our bodies. In the end I am able to say that we must react fast that we must do something that we have to decrease the amount of greenhouse emissions that are being use in our daily life's. • Milbourn, Cathy. 9. Recent News • Is that the greenhouse gases are being a big and huge threat to our environment. And from watching a video that’s was post in July 2009 I am able to say that we are using more greenhouse gases these days than before in the past. Also that we must react and that we must stop the crazy amounts that are being used. Last but not least is that greenhouse gases are destroying our environment making it a worse place for our natural life. • Milbourn, Cathy. 14. Society • Pretty much due to the environment and how it is being affected. So if there is more greenhouse gas emissions being released then first of all there will be a result of diseases. Second there well be more storms happening and larger tsunamis going on, as well as floods droughts affecting peoples life styles and forcing them to migrate from place to place. In the end I am able to say that the more pollution the more stronger and deadlier the storms and disasters will be. • Nick Hopwood,, Jordan Cohen. "Greenhouse Gases and Society." n. pag. 16. Solutions to solving this issue • First of all by using less greenhouse gases and slowing down the pollution of air. • Using alternate fuels rather than burning fossil fuels. • Using lees Carbon Dioxide. • If need to use greenhouse gases use it indoors so not able to get out. • Use renewable energy resources. • Using alternate transportation like busses instead of taking individual car. • Using other types of energy and using less motorized things. • White, Deborah. "Solutions to Stop or Slow Global Warming." About.com Guide(2010): n. pag. Web. <http://usliberals.about.com/od/environmentalconcerns/a/GlobalWarm5.htm>.

  18. Conclusion • In the end I am able to say that most global warming happens due to the amount of greenhouse gases that are injected into the air. Also that the most thing that is being infected by this pollution is the environment because whatever is being released from greenhouse gases the environment is the first to be infected by it. So in my opinion I say GREENHOUSE GASES you have to stop pollution our environment our earth our home and start using alternate resources to complete your job. Also I am able to say now that it is a part of Place and Space concept because it has affected the environment by a lot and that it is being polluted by mainly the CO2 emissions, you can also read more about the effects with environment on the environment slide above. Also these gases affect our people by giving us diseases and increasing our storms which can kill a large amount of our people and also the stronger the amount being injected of greenhouse gases the larger the effect on our people. For further information please read the slid about the society.
