La technique de transgénèse Rappels de 2nde : La TRANSGENESE ou transfert de gènes -  est l'addition d'un gène étranger, appelé transgène, mais aussi dans d'autres cas le remplacement d'un gène - et de le faire fonctionner dans un être vivant. L'organisme ou la cellule, qui reçoit alors l'ADN étranger, est susceptible de réagir en fonction de l'information génétique qui lui est transmise, par exemple en fabriquant une protéine non synthétisée naturellement.
