  2. WPFL in Michigan The WPFL Advisory Council • Jointly coordinated by Gift of Life and the Michigan Eye-Bank • 15 members, from various walks of life • Meet every 2-3 months (food helps encourage attendance)

WPFL in Michigan • Re-contacted almost all Workplace Partners • Verified current contact information • Invited Partners to increase support of Donor Registry • Sets goals for WPFL events • Designs localized print materials for WPFL • Assists in selecting “Featured Partner” for website • Suggests changes to facilitate easier donor registration • Fewer questions on donor registry webpage • Laptops for donor drives – faster, easier than brochures The WPFL Advisory Council

WPFL in Michigan • WPFL Advisory Council decided to… • Select 12 Partners to focus energy on, while inviting all to participate • Send out one email each week, for 12 Weeks • Personal story (short) at top of email to inspire • Ask contacts to forward email to 12 people, who forward to 12 people, who forward to 12 people, etc, etc. • Set goal: 12,000 donor registrations in 12 Weeks 12 Weeks of Giving
