  1. Beauty of Slovakia

  2. The High Tatras • Located in the northern part of Slovakia's border with Poland, while the greater part - 3 / 4 lying within the territory of the Tatras in Slovakia. They are the highest mountains of the Carpathian arc, with 25 peaks higher than 2,500 m. It even highlights the fact that they are circumferentially lined basins.

  3. Castles Some of the medieval castles belonged to the aristocracy, others served as fortresses for the army to defend the country against various invasions from the east and southeast. Now they can be divide into those which have been restored and those which have fallen into ruins. Every region of the country offers some of each. Restored castles offer a glimpse of how the rich lived. Castle ruins are probably more interesting for those with vivid imagination and good physical condition because they usually require walking or gentle climbing to get there.

  4. National Parks • Tatra National Park, TANAP (Tatra National Park) is one of nine national parks in Slovakia. Located in the north central and eastern Slovakia in the Tatra Mountains. The park contains 600 km of hiking trails and 16 marked and maintained bicycle routes.

  5. Caves • The entrance, which is located at 970 m above sea level, which is about 130 m above the river Hnilec, has long been known as a "cold hole". Into the lower parts of the cave first penetrated the royal mining consultant Eugene Ruffíny with the help of his friends G. Lang and A. Megu on 15th June 1870. Cave was opened to the public for a year after its discovery in 1887 and was the first cave in Europe electrically lit.
