Summary of Year 1 • Integration of assessments • Communication: This year we integrated the communications report with Outcome 1 Office Technologies • Other possible integration: Outcome 3 Creating a Culture of Customer Care • Office Technologies exemplar – add appropriate alternative solutions • Spreadsheet Unit – centre using centre devised assessment, not using exemplar

  17. 2nd Year - HND • Once matrix was complete, delivered topics eg • Leadership (DWIT O2, OM O1, MPO O3) • Motivation (MPO O2, OM O1) • Organisational Structure (MPO O1, 4, OM O1, ICT O1) • Change Management (OM O2, BCS O5) • PESTEL framework/external environment (BCS O1-5, OM O2)

  18. Impact on Delivery • Integrated delivery of content • Learners have rounded knowledge • Relies on experienced members of staff in business and administration • Close collaboration between staff, dependent on programme team
