  2. Aside from the moral obligation of reducing energy consumption wherever we can, TM44 inspection have been a legal requirement now in the UK for ten years. www.acufire.co.uk

  3. As stipulated by law, inspections now need to be conducted every 5 years by an accredited energy assessor.

  4. Failure to adequately inspect your air conditioning units according to regulation could result in a penalty of £300 (per offence). www.acufire.co.uk

  5. It is also an offence to not provide an inspection report within 7 days of being requested to do so.

  6. A national database has been created for the purpose of completing TM44 inspection reports by the government. www.acufire.co.uk

  7. These government databases can be reviewed by Enforcement Officers at any time to check if a structure is complying to regulations.
