If they are cracked or disintegrated, replace them before injecting termiticide Step 2: Connect any one of the pipes to the jointer/nipple of the pump Step 3: Note the level of termiticide in the container and start the pump / sprayer

Close this outlet now with a plug, so pressure can develop in TermiPore Pipe Step 5: If the length of the pipe from that particular injection point is less than 100 feet, then in a few minutes, you should see the termiticide come out from the other end of the pipe

The termiticide will be evenly distributed throughout the length of the TermiPore system. This process should take about 15 to 20 minutes per room if a small size pump is used. It will be faster if a bigger pump is used. Step 7 : After the entire quantity is injected, ALWAYS flush with 3-5 litres of clean soft / RO water to remove any hard water / suspension particles that have a chance of blocking the pipe due to calcification

Then reconnect it to the second pipe, so the other half of the quantity is injected through this second inlet ➢This way too the termiticide will be evenly distributed throughout the length of the TermiPore System.

Frequently asked questions • Which option is better for installation – in soil or over PCC? ➢Both installations work well ➢If the customer has planned in advance; it is always better to install in soil AFTER doing soil treatment as per recommended standards ➢Even then many pest control services install over PCC since the need is to protect the building from ground up, rather than just treat the soil
Frequently asked questions • How much quantity of termipore is needed per 1000 sq ft / 100 sq mtr? The quantity will vary from site to site and layout to layout. However as a thumb rule : ➢In soil installation, consider 1 roll pf 125 meter sufficient for 1000 sq ft / 100 sq mtr ➢Over PCC under tiles, please 1 roll pf 125 meter sufficient for 1500 sq ft / 150 sq mtr ➢In installation around the periphery please measure the periphery running / linear meters to get the required quantity
Frequently asked questions • Is the grid type layout with pipes in between better or is it better to just install along the borders? ➢If installing in soil, it is better to go for a 4 x 4 feet grid network since that will properly treat the soil multiple times. ➢If installed over PCC this may not be needed and just along the border maybe enough. But it will still help if you install in between, because micro holes in the slab / pcc or near columns may still allow termites through the floor.

Frequently asked questions • How much termiticide do we need to inject after installing TermiPore? ➢The amount of termiticide, the frequency and the type of termiticide is to be injected as per construction standard (for example IS 6313 in India or AS 3660.1 in Australia) or as per the construction standards or as recommended by the termiticide manufacturer ➢In many standards, it is recommended that you use 5 ltr / sq mtr of horizontal area in pre construction and 2.25 ltr to 5 ltr / running meter in post construction installation ➢Anti termite reticulation system is a delivery method and does not change the termiticide, dilution, quantity or frequency of use
Frequently asked questions • If we find that the injection is taking time after a few years, what to do? ➢In some rare cases, due to use of hard water or large suspension particles, you may find that injection takes time. ➢To solve this, increase the pump pressure and you will find the termticide flowing as expected ➢You can also use mild acid diluted with water and inject it in the pipe and keep it for 2-3 days to remove the calcification. This will then open up all pores and make the pipe as good as new (The acid is to be very mild to not damage the surrounding of the pipe, hence the recommended time to keep it in the pipe is long)
Frequently asked questions • Will TermiPore work with / get blocked if we use EC or SC? ➢TermiPore is tested with suspension concentrate and emulsion concentrate termiticides and does not get blocked with either of them. However proper mixing of SC with pump, till it is a white liquid without any suspension particles visible, is necessary when using SC ➢Ensure that clean soft low TDS water is used to dilute the termiticide and also used for flushing the pipes clean immediately after the injection ➢In case hard water is used in dilution, it may block the pipe after a few years. You can easily open the holes without damaging TermiPore material, by injecting and flushing it with diluted acid
