South African CCS Test Injection Demonstration: Insights and Outcomes from Gallagher Estate

On October 24, 2011, in Gallagher Estate, Midrand, the South African Centre for Carbon Capture and Storage (SACCCS) held a critical demonstration on CO2 storage. This event gathered key participants to discuss the South African CCS Roadmap and its commercial potential. The demonstration tested the capacity for CO2 storage, ranging from 10,000t to 1,000,000t.
