  1. Computed Tomography (CT) is a diagnostic imaging test used to create detailed images of internal organs, bones, soft tissue and blood vessels Computed Tomography (CT) is a diagnostic imaging test used to create detailed images of internal organs, bones, soft tissue and blood vessels. Also Computed Tomography, refers to a computerized x-ray imaging procedure in which a narrow beam of x-rays is aimed at a patient and quickly rotated around the body, producing signals that are processed by the machine's computer to generate cross-sectional images of the body. Computed Tomography (CT) is really a diagnostic imaging test used to produce detailed images of internal organs, soft tissue, blood vessels and bones. Also Computed Tomography, identifies a computerized x-ray imaging procedure where a thin beam of x-rays is directed at a patient and quickly rotated around the body, producing signals which can be processed by the machine's computer to generate cross-sectional images of the body. Computed Tomography is based on the fundamental principle that the density of the tissue passed by the x-ray beam can be measured from the calculation of the attenuation coefficient.CT scan is quick and can give pictures of tissues, organs, and skeletal structure. CT scan uses X-rays to create detailed pictures of bones, organs, and other tissues. MRI also creates detailed pictures of interior area the body, but it uses radio waves and a strong magnet to generate the pictures.CT scans can spot joint and bone problems, like complex bone fractures and tumors. If you have a condition like cancer, heart problems, emphysema, CT scans can spot it or help doctors see any changes. They show internal injuries as well as bleeding, such as for example those produced by car accident. Read More: http://bit.ly/3bX4vXj
