  1. Music Magazine Plan

  2. Genre/Sub-Genre • I plan to give the magazine a mix of widely recognised great bands which can be enjoyed by all. It can be any genre, but some genres may occur more often. Such as Rock ‘N’ Roll, Pop, Pop Rock. Although we will aim to give the consumers current music that are in the charts, we will also aim to deliver music from all the ages to satisfy the fact that music has been good through all the times. Dating back to the days of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash in the ‘50s and today in 2012 with Adele and Maroon 5, Bruno Mars etc. Basically any of the relatively popular artists at the time.

  3. Reader Profile • My magazine is for a male in their late teens to mid twenties, who is reasonably well educated who is not afraid to splash a little cash on the side for a magazine that is well worth the money. I’d like to believe that with the fine quality of the magazine and the straight to the point ethos, that the reader can empathise with the classic look and fascinating contents within. The male reader would ideally like to consider a magazine like ‘Q’ over other magazines such as ‘Vibe’ as ‘Q’ really holds the classic, simple and straight to the point look. Where as ‘Vibe’ magazine seems a bit overcrowded, but ironically not with a lot of text – it seems to be hugely taken up with a close up shot of a music artist, however music doesn’t seem to be the main focus of the magazine. Moreover, the reader would thoroughly enjoy reading about the real classic and brilliant artists from all over the ages. For example going back as far Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley, and now today with classic, true to the music artists like Adele and at a stretch even AC/DC.
