  2. English 10 - 12/17/13 • Respond to “Forgetfulness.” video. • Who are the most truthful men in Spain? • Chaetophorous – bristle bearing; in need of a shave. Goals – Practice reciting aloud. Redo poem 1. Practice reciting in front of the class. Last day to get poem 2 approved. Homework – Write your poem from memory on your opener.

  3. English 10 – 12/18/13 • Write about a subject of your choice. • Why can’t a woman ask her brother for help? • Frantling – the mating call of a peacock. Goals – Recite and evaluate poems for Poetry Out Loud project. Homework – Practice reciting your poem aloud.

  4. English 10 - 12/19/13 • Write about you impressions of these poetry recitals. Which did you like? Why? Did you like the poem you chose? • If Mr. and Mrs. Bigger had a baby, who would be the biggest of the three? • Canorous – sweet sounding. Goals - Recite and evaluate poems for Poetry Out Loud project. Homework –Don’t forget to study for Quiz # 15 tomorrow.
