  3. Best Practices • Breakfast : Chana Chat, Sukhdi, Muthia, Mix dal • Milk : 200 ml. to 4.81 lakh Children of 26 blocks. • Additional 60 kg Food grains to tribal girls • Water Purifiers : 23101 (67%) schools . • Kitchen Gardens : 2694 (7%) schools • Tithi Bhojan : 78.96 lakh meals served

  4. Issues • MME Utilization : Very low (39%). • MDM – MIS Data entry : Not completed . • FCI Statement : Rs. 2.81 Cr. pending as on 31.3.18. • Payment to CCH : 90% Honorarium paid to CCH • Kitchen cum store :Construction not yet started in 767units. • Drought Proposal 2016-17 : Not submitted in 2017-18

  5. Innovations etc. • It is proposed that the States and UTs may also be given flexibility to utilize, with prior approval of MHRD, 5% of their Annual Work Plan & Budget for new interventions provided they are not included under any of the Central or State Schemes and there is no overlapping of activities. This is subject to CCEA approval. • Some of the suggested innovation may be in the field of Water filters, kitchen gardens, provision of LPG connections, use of millets etc. These are only illustrative and not exhaustive. • Community participation. • Meetings of District committee headed by Dist.
