  3. Newport High runs ??? Miles for Sport Relief • Students are asked to run or walk 1 mile for Sport Relief • Friday (21 March 2014) students can pay £1 to wear their PE kit to school and participate in the run or walk 1 mile for Sport Relief • A 1 mile circuit has been mapped and marked out around the playing fields • Winning students will be rewarded • We then add up how many students have taken part and therefore how many miles have been run by Newport High for Sport Relief

  4. Rules Key Stage 3 learners – School PE kit and sensible footwear Key Stage 4 learners – Sport kit, red t-shirt and sensible footwear Anyone who comes to school not dressed appropriately for SPORT RELIEF will be sent home to change! Please don’t spoil it 

  5. Plan • During Lesson 1 any Year 7 student who has paid their £1 and is wearing their PE kit walks (or runs) the circuit  Lesson 2 - Year 8 students Lesson 3 – Year 9 students Lesson 4 – Textiles, Construction, Hospitality/Catering, Sport & Leisure, ART x2, Health & Social Care Lesson 5 – French, Geography, Ex.project, I.T, Science, Performing Arts

  6. Plan • Y12/Y13 will need to marshal the course, count the entrants, reward the winners. • Non participants will go to the astro turf with their teachers.

  7. Last Year for Comic Relief we raised £1059.36!!!! Please remember your £1 donation and lets see if we can beat this total! Diolchpawb!
