School Council Election • May 21 • Strike the Election Committee • Agree on date of election • Agree on date of First Council Meeting of 2013-14 School Year • June 11 (Final Meeting of this year) • Finalize date, time & location of election • How election will be advertised to parent community • Develop nomination form • Early September • Nomination forms go home (14 days prior to election – Sept 3?) • Election date & time posted • Parents return nomination forms (Sept 6?) • List of nominees is sent out (Sept 10?) • 14 days after package was sent home • Election • First Council Meeting (September 17?) • Within first 35 days of the start of school
