  1. Camp Kaitawa By Harry Lack

  2. Camp OMG! Its time for Reignier School Year 5 Camp Kaitawa! It was going to be a magnificent time! My highlights for this adventure was walking to the Green Lake, climbing the huge Ngamoko, going through the hard obstacle course and slip sliding in the yucky mud!!! What an exciting, challenging week for the year 5’s.

  3. Fantastic Monday After a long journey we finally reached Camp Kaitawa. I couldn't wait to get there. After I got my comfortable bed we went on walk. It was awesome when we saw the Green Lake. It was amazing . Then we had to walk up the pipeline, it was dreadful!

  4. Tuesday On Tuesday we went for the huge Ngamoko walk. It took 7 and a half hours. We had morning tea next to a 1000 year old tree, it was huge! We had a lot of toilet stops. When we had lunch we were up so, so high, I was amazed. Then we started walking downhill. It said 2 and a half hours then it said 2 hours.

  5. Wednesday It was time for the obstacle course. In my team was Bailey, Jacob, Brooke and me. First round Zoey got hurt so we got Brooke. Second round we got timed. Our time was 5 mins 3 seconds, we got the best time. My favourite part was all of it!

  6. Thursday Today we were going caving. We were going through 8 caves. There were drops metres and metres down. They were a bit small but they were fun. The best one was the last because it was the biggest. We had to get down on our hands and knees. We had to walk as well as going in the caves so we could get to them. It was fun.

  7. Friday It was the last day so we packed our gear and headed off to Wairoa for lunch. The chip buttes were delicious. I went on the playground then we drove back to school. I thought camp was awesome. It was the best camp ever. I wish it didn’t end! (PS. I feel good).
