  1. Camp Kaitawa By Zoey

  2. It was a hot summers morning, the year 5’s were getting prepared for an exciting day. Everyone was excited but what the year 5’s did not know is what was to come: fantastic walk to thepower station, the walk to the top of a hill, beautiful waterfalls and dark creepy caves.

  3. Monday After the long drive everyone was so excited but some people weren't feeling very well. In the middle of the day everyone had to go for a walk to the power station. We all saw the power pipes, birds and waterfalls. They were very relaxing noises. For dinner we had spaghetti bolognaise, it was yum.

  4. Tuesday Today we were going on an big walk, so rise and shine. We all woke up at 7.00, then we had some lovely breakfast. So now we were ready for our big adventure. It took a long time to get up the mountain. Then we stopped for lunch. When we came back we all saw lots of silver ferns.

  5. Wednesday Today we were walking to Lake Waikareiti. It was a hot/warm day. We all could not wait to see the waterfalls, they were so lovely. I saw an eel in one of the waterfalls they were noisy.

  6. Thursday Today we were going caving and also having our cookout. Now I was ready for our head banging, head shaking adventure. The caves were creepy and dark. Now tonight is the night...nachos, yum. Our nachos they were so juicy and tender.

  7. Friday Now it was Friday and time to leave. The end of my awesome adventures. Ohh! I have to go but I would love to go again.
