Country Brochure Project:

1. Country Brochure Project: 6th grade project

2. This is a lot of information that will be required on your brochure. You will have to be selective in what you choose to display and how you choose to display it. Additionally, your brochure must look eye catching to the reader and include images. Please put your name on your project.

3. Your brochure should include: • ___brochure should have three panels on each side (6 total) • ___the name of your country • ___basic facts (location, population, climate, temperatures, geography, capital, and major cities) • ___ a flag of the country • ___a map of the country • ___history of the country

4. Your brochure should include: • ___information on the natural features • ___information on the people and culture • ___information on the government and economy • ___information on attractions in the country, for tourists. • ___six pictures with captions (captions should be in a smaller font, such at size 6)

5. Your brochure should include: • ___borders on ALL pictures (use the Format Tab – remember you can also change the picture shape!) • ___ you can choose the font but it MUST be readable • ___Headings should stick out (bold or make a larger font) • ___font size should be appropriate (no bigger than 14 if it is a heading and no smaller than 8 if it is a caption).

8. You will use your computer to create a professional looking travel brochure for your country displaying the information you have discovered on your research sheet • We will have 1 class to research then onto the brochure which you already know how to do
