  3. Coursework Summary Weekly homework: 35 % (posted on web site) Two midterm exams: 20 % each (Thursdays, at class time in this room) Final take home exam: 25 % (assigned Tu Dec 6 by posting on web site, due in one week)

  4. Skipped Chapter Chapter 1: Introduction, will not be covered in class. It is recommended reading if you have never heard of FEM before.
