Short Term Plans • Complete Required CFS Text for RDR by April 2007 • Finalize of CFS RDR Support Document • Prepare CFS Response to the Report of the Daresbury ILC Machine Advisory Committee Review • Begin Formal Investigation of Near Surface/Cut and Cover Design Solutions • Review Regional Requirements for Project Development, Approvals and Site Selection Processes and Identify Similarities and Distinctions • Review Existing Project Schedules • Begin to Define the Requirements that Could be Used to Develop Bid to Host/Regional Interest Documents • Participate as Needed in the Development of the ILC Project Management System BILCW 07 - Beijing

Profile of CFS Design Process • CFS, and the Entire Project, is Entering into the Transition Period from RDR to EDR • While the Transition will be Different for Various Parts of the Machine, Portions of the CFS Transition are Dependent on Regional Decisions, Requirements and Approvals • These Regional Impacts Vary in Time • International and GDE Definitions Need Consensus for Effective Progress • Funding Availability will Impact Progress on the Overall CFS Design Effort • Regional Input for Portions of the CFS Effort will also Impact the Overall Project Schedule BILCW 07 - Beijing
