And finally… • You’ll have plenty of time so DON’T rush. • Read through paper before starting – parts of your brain will start thinking about later questions whilst your on the easier ones. • Read each question carefully and make sure that you understand what it’s asking you to do before you start answering it. • When you’ve finished an answer, check back to make sure it seems sensible and answers the question. • Draw any diagrams or graphs using a pencil so you can rub out any mistakes • If you get stuck, think for a minute, if no joy move on to next question. Your brain will keep mulling over the stuck one. • If you want to replace a mistake, just cross it out so the examiner can still see it. Don’t obliterate it. • When you get to the end of the paper, go back and retry the ones you got stuck on. Don’t leave any question unanswered if possible. Go with a hunch or have a guess. The only questions you are certain to get no marks for are ones you haven’t tried.
