What does Linden Road believe…. • Every child can succeed • Outstanding teaching is a prerequisite for pupil success • High expectations, no excuses • Values driven • Self belief • Data driven • Correct lack of knowledge • Gaps must be filled before moving on • Mastery of learning • Natural cohesion in the curriculum • Technology is changing

  3. SDP- Achievement and Attainment • Increase number of pupils making better than expected progress • Ensure more-able reach the highest levels they are capable of

  4. Achievement and Assessment • Rigorous on going assessment. 6 week cycle • Minimum targets of 3 levels across a KS • 1 sub level a term • Effective use of data • High quality intervention • Pupil consultation days • Pupil progress meetings

  5. SDP- Teaching • 100% good, 40% outstanding by Dec 12. • Mathematics – application in investigation and problem solving • Consistent marking and feedback built on existing good practice • Ensure curriculum meets needs of all pupils • High quality presentation and handwriting

  6. Teaching • Lit and numeracy across the curriculum • Use of targets • Real life learning and experiences • High quality learning environment • Focus on differentiation and challenge • Homework

  7. SDP – Parental Partnership • Parents Forum • PTFA • Parental Voice • Parents evenings/events • Parent liaison officer • EWO • Total ban on holidays in term time
