Goals – Introduce vocabulary #24. Work on brainstorming and strategies for persuasive prompts. Conventions Subject verb agreement. Homework – Don’t forget to study for vocab. quiz #24.

Choose one of the following positions and support it: a) Ban them! b) No restrictions c) Some guidelines. • What were Mr. O’Connor’s three hardest years? • Annie Oakley – Free pass to the theatre. Goals – Examine persuasive strategies; subject/verb agreement; sentence fragments; concessions part of the essay. Homework – Complete whatever was not finished in class.
