  2. Who is the Audience?

  3. The audience is mainly women because that is who human trafficking primarily affects, but it could also be any person who wants to put an end to human trafficking or has had an experience with it first hand.

  4. What is the Purpose?

  5. The purpose of this picture is to make people aware of just how serious human trafficking is and to show them that it is a tragedy that is continually damaging the lives of young women all over the world on a daily basis.

  6. What Techniques are used?

  7. The creator of this picture used many different techniques such as a faded, dark background and the illusion that the women’s skin has grown over her shoes to reveal the harsh and unthinkable realities of sex slavery.

  8. What is the Ethos?

  9. The artist creates ethos in this picture because the fact that you can only see the women’s feet expresses that human trafficking is affecting women of all ages and ethnicity, and that each and every one of them deserves to be rescued from it so that they can experience a joyful life.

  10. What is the Logos?

  11. Logos is created in this picture because the caption “Some people are very attached to their work” and the image of the woman’s high heels becoming a part of her body, show that women who become slaves are usually in it for life which is why we are the ones who must do something about it.

  12. What is the Pathos?

  13. Pathos is created by this picture because when we look at it we experience a feeling of pain, suffering, and sorrow towards the women. The image causes viewers to want to fight against human trafficking and put an end to it.
