  1. 2014 Happy New Year!

  2. In light of the fact that weather is getting wackier, global challenges are intensifying, and the next wave of revival appears imminent, how then shall we live? In 2014, how do you plan to grow spiritually and prepare to be an overcomer in what will soon be coming? To what degree will we seek first His Kingdom? Will we be purposeful, intentional with our Time and Energy? .

  3. Christianity: Not merely a matter of us doing and obeying Not merely us resting and receiving It’s both. • “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Eph. 2:9 • “…Because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion unti the day of Christ Jesus.” Phil. 1:5-6 • “…As you have always obeyed…continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His good purpose.” Phil. 2:12-13

  4. The Apostle PaulPressing on toward the Goal Philippians 3:7-15, 20 “But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ – the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

  5. “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things… Our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Saviour from there, the Lord Jesus Christ…”

  6. We are in a War The enemy is out to neutralize us, make us directionless (if aim at nothing, sure to hit it every time) The Need for Focus, being intentional, Setting goals in our lives (and accountability) (esp. at beginning of a new year and because of destiny at the end of the age) 1) In our relationship with Him (I want to know Christ )(upward) 2) Christ-like character, heart stuff (righteousness/faith) (inward) 3) Serving others (ministry/mission)(power of His resurection, suffering) (outward)

Amen.” HEBREWS 13:20-21
