  2. Why is it important to have a variety of living things in the Bay? It is important to have a variety of living things in the Bay .The horseshoe crab are important to the Bay because it help with our health. The eelgrass help to keep the animals in Bay alive because animals can eat them. Eastern oysters are also important because they keep the bay healthy. My research will show that eelgrass, horseshoe crabs, and eastern oysters are important to the Bay.

  3. Horseshoe Crab The horseshoe crab are important to the Bay because it helps with our health and the food chain. They are helpful to make special bandages. Horseshoe crabs eat marine warms and shellfish. Also you can find them at the Bays sandy beaches and shallow deep waters in the lower middle Bay. They look like a dome that is brownish-green. Horseshoe crabs also has a spiked tail which turns them over. But eelgrass is much more different than Horseshoe crabs.

  4. Eelgrass Eelgrass is important to the Bay because they give other fish food. Eelgrass creates their own food. They get there name because they look like eels and grass. You can find them in high salt content and shores. They get eaten by green turtles. Cow nose rays destroys eelgrass beds. In Europe they are used as mulch which is a material to put on soil to keep it moist. I know eelgrass is interesting but I love learning about Eastern Oysters.

  5. Eastern Oysters Eastern Oysters are important to the Bay because they keep it healthy. You can find these oysters live in aquatic reefs. Starfish, sea anemone , and sea nettles oysters eat eastern oysters. They keep the Bay healthy because they eat rotting plants and animals. Something about eastern oysters is oyster larvae's crawl. These oysters are very interesting.

  6. Conclusion In conclusion I learned that horseshoe crabs are important for our health. Eelgrass is important to to other fish. Finally eastern oysters cleans the Bay. This is what I learned writing my research report.
