  1. The African Wild Dog By Chayton Neufeld Goof Proofed by Shala Neufeld

  2. What This endangered species is the African Wild Dog, also known as the Lycaon Pictus in Latin. To give you the full description its kingdom is Anamilia, its Phylum is Chordata, its class is Mammalia, its order is Carnivora, its family is Canidea and its genus is Lycoan. It is also called the African wild dog, African hunting dog, Cape hunting dog, painted dog, painted wolf, painted hunting dog, spotted dog, or the ornate wolf.

  3. Where The African Wild Dog obviously originates from Africa. Where exactly is not known but of course if it was I would tell you(maybe).

  4. Who The endangerment of this species affects the people and animals of Africa, but closer to the southern half. The animals that would be affected would be the predators and prey of this animal.

  5. When This animal became classified as endangered on January 23, 1984. It is still classified as endangered sadly, which is why I am doing a C.E. on it.

  6. Why I think that the main reasons this animal is endangered is because farmers would kill them because they were pestering their livestock, diseases, habitat loss and larger predators that oppose them.

  7. How You can help to save this animal by donating to funds such as the WWF or the AWCF, or just by simply raising awareness about the animal so you can help others take the initiative.

  8. DUN, DUN, DUN! Here comes the Bibliography!
