  2. Sayın Başkan, Sayın Hocalarım, Değerli Kongre Üyeleri, 15. kongremizde bu onurlu görevi bana veren hocalarıma teşekkür ediyorum. Olağanüstü kültürel ve tarihi zenginlikleri, yeşilin her tonu ile donanmış dağları, Amik ovası ve Asi nehri ile baş döndürücü bir güzelliği olan bu şehrimizde, 19 Mayıs arifesinde bulunmakla ayrıca bir heyecan içindeyim. Anavatana katılması için kritik politikaların sürdürüldüğü günlerde, hasta yatağından kalkarak, dimdik ayakta durduğunu göstermek için Güney Anadolu şehirlerimize seyahate çıkan Büyük Atatürk’ün ülkemizin her köşesinde olduğu gibi burada da imzası vardır. Ve burada onun adıyla ve amblem olarak seçilen imzasıyla açılan bu Üniversite çok anlamlıdır. Bu günler için saygı ve şükranlarımı sunuyorum.
