  2. Weather and climate The weather in a desert for the most part is hot and dry. The perception level can range form 1-15 inches per year . The total amount of daylight can range from 9-512 days depending on location. Deserts can be very humid or almost not humid at all. The humidity can range form 20%-100%. The air pressure is known to very high. The wind velocity can reach 100 km per hour. The temperature ranges from 68 F-120 F.

  3. Winter is the season when it starts to rain. The sun is not facing the desert so it is cold enough to rain. The summer it is always the warmest season. Fall is still warm but to warm to rain. In the spring the temperatures. When it rains it does not effect many animals. the only animals that can survive the deserts are ones that burrow. The rain would not effect those animals. The plant can be effected such as a cactus. the cactuses suck up ground water through there root and store the water. If it rains the cactus can gather water WEATHER PATTERNS

Also lots of plants need sun so the sun is also a big help to the plants since its always hot during the day. Why does this weather help the plants live?

  7. Some of the adaptations these plants need to survive are heat, sunlight, sand, physical and behavioral mechanisms. These plants need lots of heat cause they weren't meant to be in the cold they need lots of sunlight and heat. What are the special adaptations these plants have to survive in this biome?
