Vocabulary Review • Isobar – lines of equal pressure • Isotherm – lines of equal temperature • Warm front – boundary between cold and warm air, where the warm air is moving into cold • Cold front – boundary between cold and warm air, where the cold air is moving into warm • Low pressure – centralized area of low atmospheric pressure • High pressure – centralized area of high atmospheric pressure • Contour interval – value that tells you how far up the next line will be….example: “3” contour line, then a “6” contour line
