Abuse of this privilege results in loss of borrowing privileges. Teachers can check out videos. Remember to respect others, read quietly, and keep library materials in their proper place.   2. Library Checkout Policy • One (1) book per student for 10 school days. • Exceptions: Class projects, Science Fair, special permissions • One (1) book may be put on hold for no more than 10 school days. • Students who abuse this privilege will lose it. • Videos are only checked out by teachers

  3. A few things to remember: • Inside voices • Have fun, but don’t distract others • Read quietly to yourself • Let others listen or work • Share

  4. Travel to and from library: • WALK!!!! • Remain quiet in the halls. • Respect others. • Keep hands and feet to yourself. • Don’t distract.

  5. Respect our library: • Keep library materials where they belong • Don’t leave materials just anywhere • If something IS out of place, put it where it belongs or bring to Mrs. Odom • Return chairs, stools, etc. to correct location when finished

  6. Take care of library materials: • Handle gently • Use some type of bookmark instead of turning down corners • Remember – others will use these books too!

  7. Enjoy our library! • Respecting others is part of sharing. • Helping others IS fun! • Have fun browsing our GREAT selection of books!
