This study presents the crystallization of sulfapyridine dioxane solvate and sulfapyridine tetrahydrofuran solvate, with X-ray crystal structures determined at 170 K. The unit cell packing diagrams reveal a significant solvent pocket occupied by dioxane and THF molecules. The research includes detailed projections of the crystal structures along different axes for sulfapyridine, sulfapyridine dioxane solvate, and sulfapyridine THF solvate, contributing to a deeper understanding of these compounds' solid-state chemistry.

Crystallization and X-ray Crystal Structure of Sulfapyridine, SulfapyridineDioxane Solvate, and SulfapyridineTetrahydrofuran SolvateLamartine Meda, Xavier University of Louisiana, DMR 0934111 We have crystallized sulfapyridinedioxane solvate and sulfapyridinetetrahydrofuran solvate and determined the x-ray crystal structures at 170 K. The unit cell packing diagram shows a large solvent pocket occupied by the dioxane and THF solvent molecules.
