  14. Cost – Academic Year - MacEwan • $25,000 is an approximate average (tuition and living expenses) for 1 academic year (ESL studies are less) • International tuition at MacEwan is based on credits • Comparatively low cost education with excellent value

  16. Can Students Work and Study? • International students can work part-time on campus (20 hours or less) • Off-campus work is now possible for international program students; however, students need to have studied for 6 months prior to attaining employment

  17. Can Students Work in Canada after Program Completion? • Work for up to 3 years following graduation (depends on the length of their program) • Work in Canada is not GURANTEED • Alberta still has a very strong economy (oil and gas)
