WP 4.1 : Local Dissemination and Promotion • State of progress year 3: 6 last months • Participation to national environmental forum (“grenelle de l’environnement”) on new legislation on new & existing buildings energy performances • Events for local dissemination done by French partners: different target groups (students, developers, designers, real estate professionals, urban development professionals, politicians…) • MIPIM (International forum of building sectors)

WP 4.1 : Local Dissemination and Promotion Analysis of progress • Several presentations done, with increasing interest for the project (from politicians, administrative bodies, associative networks, etc.) • Some weakness on large public awareness • Locally, still some difficulties to coordinate and to be aware of promotion and dissemination activities of each local partners • Tel-conferences: effective tool to ensure a common work/shared vision on our respective community work (implementation Common Strategy)

WP 4.1 : Local Dissemination and Promotion Plans for the next 18 months • To hold a local transversal meeting on dissemination in order to coordinate partners events and to involve each local partner in our dissemination and promotion strategy • To hold several conferences on the project (Salon Pollutec 2009-2010, Assises de l’Energie, etc.) • To identify ConcertoPlus possible contributions for our Strategic Communication Plan • To use the Protocol centralization document • To keep on doing tel-conferences with Spanish/Italian partners to keep the information flow going

WP 4.2: Common Dissemination Activities • Participation on Position paper from Concerto projects communities on EPBD (EC Efficiency on building Directive) • Participation of Sust.Energy Week (BXL-Feb08) • Participation in Concerto I & II launch conference (BXL-Feb08) • Invitation of ConcertoPlus team to participate to 5th technical & PSG session (April08) • French regional visit tour by ConcertoPlus (Grenoble-May08) • Attending ConcertoPlus Dissemination Workshop (BXL-Sept08) • ConcertoPlus Coordinator project Workshop (BXL-Oct08)

WP 4.2: Plans for the next 18 months • For the 3 communities : • To keep on presenting the project to different target-groups • To update regularly the strategic document of dissemination and calendar events • To strengthen the network strategy: • have a presentation of the Concerto/Renaissance project on all the websites of the consortium partners • update calendar events • optimize information flow through existing networks-relations • Update RENAISSANCE website For Lombardy: • - To produce a double page presentation brochure of the project of the Italian community + an abstract • - To transmit the list of events which will give rise to a presentation of the Concerto/Renaissance project

WP4.2 : Dissemination Workshop (Bruxelles, 26/09/2008) • Communities experiences • Dissemination tools and best practices: • Political focus and involvements of local politicians • Organised visits of the projects demonstration sites • Networking more important than producing papers • To create the right key message to the right target group (communities and project face difficulties to make people understand the Concerto programme) Ideas for future Dissemination tools: • To address directly the citizens • To boost the people’s awareness on issues such as sustainability Benefits from synergies: • To learn about problems other projects encountered • Identify the “best sellers”

WP4.2 : Dissemination Workshop (Bruxelles, 26/09/2008) ConcertoPlus team (Eurokeys) possible contributions • To facilitate exchange of information • To facilitate visibility of Concerto initiative • Need an updated calendar when ConcertoPlus needs the input of communities • A dissemination matrix would be a helpful tool • Over-supply of information observed on the database • Project coordinator/ Leaders meetings very appreciated • To centralize more information on the Concerto website ie: press release of all the projects • To connect Concerto with other European projects and initiatives • Concerto advocacy paper and a coordinated lobbying
