  1. WNB Entry 5 Memories Describe a vivid childhood memory in detail. Use imagery to put your reader in that time and place. Remember to show (not tell) by using vivid verbs and avoiding dead verbs. Choose THREE other poetic/literary elements from SB (206-207) to help paint the picture – challenge yourself by using terms you do not know as well. Remember to vary your sentence openers, write out contractions, and consider audience and purpose!
