  1. WNB Entry #3 Childhood In some works of literature, childhood and adolescence are portrayed as times graced by innocence and a sense of wonder; in other works, they are depicted as times of tribulation and terror. Focusing on a story you have read, write an essay explaining how the story’s representation of childhood or adolescence helps the reader to understand a theme or message of the story. Include at least 3 vocabulary words from any lesson and underline them. (Examples: Where the Red Fern Grows, The Outsiders, The Giver, Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, The Fault in Our Stars, Ender’s Game, “Marigolds”)
