  2. Description • Product will use an ultrasonic signal to measure depth of water • Displays depth in feet on a 7 segment LED display • Displays error message if measurement is not accurate • Utilizes a push button on/off switch

  3. Key Requirements • Product must be safe in a mobile aquatic setting • Must be water resistant • Must have safe failure method when submerged for greater than 5 seconds • Product must be able to run off of a marine battery, or in a mobile setting where it runs off of 8 D-cell batteries • Measures depth ultrasonically up to 50 ft. with a 5 % accuracy rating
