  2. What is the price for the unit rate of the cost of strawberries? • The price for strawberries is 2/$4.00 . if you divide $4.00 by the strawberries you can buy (which is 2) , you would get $2.00 for every pack of strawberries you get. ($4.00/2= $2.00)

  3. Unit Rates • A unit rate is the estimated market value contribution for each unit of an improvement. • It can be used to find out prices of foods, clothes, companies of how much they earn,etc.. • Unit rates actually help you find the best choice of anything you are in need for.

  4. Brands of strawberries • I am using the same brand, but a different size or amount of pounds(Dole). One pack has 2 pounds of strawberries and the other has 1 pound . • If you want to find out which pack of strawberries is cheaper, you need to do the math.

  5. Prices of the strawberries • When you divide $4.00 by 2 packs of strawberries , the price will be $2.00. When you divide the price by the pounds, you will figure out which is more affordable. • (2 lb. pack)$4.00/2=$2.00/32 oz.=0.0625 • (1 lb. pack) $4.00/2=$2.00/16 oz.= 0.125 • The 2 lb. pack is cheaper because 0.0625 is rounded to 10.
