Pre- term Projects In order to initiate students into the process of research they are made undertake a project based on secondary research on variety of topics ranging from Business, Economics, Politics, society, globalization, culture, history etc. They are prepared to present a managerial perspective of their area of studies. The students work in a group of two and defended their research before a panel

  16. Book Review The students select a management related classic and present a thorough analysis of its content, context and learning from the same. They are expected to present a review, in-view and pre- view of the book and identify and understand the conceptual and theoretical principles underlying the same. This is part of student induction programme and is conducted.

  17. Student Parliament An exercise in understanding the functioning of Indian Democracy was presented as a student’s parliament with complete observance of procedures and protocol with debates on major issues like Lokpal, Women’s reservation and defense budget etc.

  18. Advanced Learning Programme As a concluding part of orientation the students undergo ALP, an outbound training programme on group dynamics, leadership, decision making, crises management and social responsibility. These are conducted by trained faculties and held in natural environment.

Current Business Review The students present a brief analysis of business news from the daily BusinessLine subscribed individually to all the students.The day begins with half an hour session with a team of four covering News Headlines Stock Market Analysis Editorial and centre page article review A weekly Quiz on Saturday

  20. Ojal In house Management Event An in house management event was conducted to introduce students to various concepts related to Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and General Management

  21. Diksha Diksha is guest lecture series at JCMM. Eminent speakers from various walks of life including Industry, Academia and Social Sector, Public sector visit JCMM and share their expertise with students and guide students to help them to become better managers.

  23. ABHIJNAN • The annual intercollegiate management event is ‘Abhijnan’ meaning reviewing and realizing timeless traditions and thoughts without being a normal management competition it attempts at creative understanding and interpretation of concepts related to knowledge, skill and values.

Union Budget Analysis • Every year the Union Budget is telecast live and is followed by a panel discussion which comprises of experts from industry, academics, social sector, professions and administrators. The students get a firsthand account of the purpose, process and implications of the union budget on various sectors.

  25. Astitva - Spirit of Freedom • Started as an event to pay tribute to the martyrs o0f freedom struggle, ‘Astitva’ meaning identity, celebrates the spirit of freedom. It is an event to introspect, inspire and get involved in the process of nation making.

  26. Foreign Language • The students are offered a course in foreign language as it enhances communication and cultural understanding. • We also offer a course in communicative English for improving basic communication skills.

  27. Learning Lab • These are intended to consolidate, conceptualize and creatively apply the learning curriculum. The students experiment, experience and exhibit the learning through presentations, role plays, quiz and other pragmatic approaches.
