  2. Dictatorship or Absolute Monarchy • In a Dictatorship or Absolute Monarchy, the power lays only with one person in all areas of government. A Constitution does not limit power. Types of Government

  3. Oligarchy: • In this type of government, the power lies with a small group of people in society like royalty or a group of wealthy citizens. The Constitution point out the power of the group in control and the rules the citizens must follow. Types of Government

  4. Direct Democracy: • Every person is equal in a direct democracy. A Constitution lays out the law but every person’s vote counts equally. Types of Governments

  5. Representative Democracy: • Citizens elect representatives to vote for them within the government. The Constitution lays out the powers of the people and the government so that one cannot be too powerful. Types of Government

Not much interest in education, the are interested in unity only to get food from Duda and money help from Lakali. • The smallest tribe of nomadic hunters.   9. 1. Since Borka needs leadership to unite it, would a dictatorship, oligarchy, representative or direct democracy be best? Why? Which government is best for your tribe?

  10. 2. Borka needs schools, hospitals, highways and money for these projects must be raised through taxes. Which form of government could most quickly pass tax laws and collect money. Why? Which government is best for your tribe?

  13. 5. Borka needs a good plan for development and modernization. He planners should be educated and experienced. With what form of government will Borka get the best planners? Why? Which government is the best?

  15. 7. If a representative democracy is chosen, would you support equal representation from each tribe or representation based on population? Why? Which government is the best?
